The Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MDHEWD) and the Committee on Transfer and Articulation (COTA) will host the 2026 COTA Conference on March 6, 2026. The theme this year is “Pathways Powered by Possibility: Innovation for Student Mobility.

Through this event we aim to support transfer professionals and their institutions in identifying institutional infrastructure impediments and offering insight into inclusionary practices for all transfer students. The conference is designed to guide attendees to think broadly and generously to remove barriers and support successful transfer across the state. As a participant, you will learn practical and research-based strategies as well as build connections. We encourage individuals from all functional areas at community colleges, universities, and other organizations to attend.
